About Speaker
Paul Alan Clifford, M.Div. is ever working to use the talents God has given him. He works with church staff and volunteers, who want to use technology to impact people far from God, by navigating through the maze of possibilities and jargon.
He’s been a tech volunteer with Lexington City Church (formerly called Quest Community Church) in Lexington, KY since 2000 and is the founder of TrinityDigitalMedia.com, LLC, and creator of ChurchTechU, an online church tech training community.
He started doing technology in ministry when his church’s attendance was around 200 in one Sunday service and has witnessed its growth to 5,300 average weekly attendance in one Saturday service, four Sunday services in one online and three physical campuses. He also felt the sadness of that same church shrinking somewhat, after the senior pastor left in disgrace.
He literally wrote the book(s) on podcasting in churches, Twitter in churches, servant-hearted volunteering, following a radical calling, creativity in church, videography for churches, and live-streaming for churches, as well as having written various articles for publications like “Church Production” and “Technologies for Worship” magazines and other church tech blogs.
He’s also published over 1,000 YouTube tutorials (including over 160 on ProPresenter 7 alone) and runs various Facebook groups including the Official ProPresenter Users’ Group.
